Ingredients (Whole 9x13 Pan):
1 box Chocolate Chip Muffin Mix (standard 15-18 oz size)
4 scoops Casein Protein Powder (Vanilla or Unflavored)
1 cup Unsweetened Applesauce
2 large Eggs
1/2 cup Water (or the amount specified on the mix box, as needed)
Cooking spray or parchment paper (for pan preparation)
Instructions:
Prepare the Oven and Pan: Preheat your oven to 350∘F. Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking pan with cooking spray or line it with parchment paper.
Combine Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together the contents of the muffin mix and the casein protein powder. Whisk well to ensure the protein powder is completely integrated and there are no clumps.
Mix Wet Ingredients: Create a small well in the center of the dry mix. Add the applesauce and the 2 large eggs.
Blend the Batter: Begin mixing the ingredients. Add water slowly, just until the batter comes together and is well combined. Do not overmix. The batter should be thick but pourable.
Bake the Cake: Pour the batter into the prepared 9×13 inch baking pan, spreading it evenly. Bake for approximately 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Serve: Let the cake cool completely before slicing. Slice into 12 squares for serving. Enjoy this high-protein, macro-friendly dessert!
