Ingredients (Single Serving):

  • 1 large Whole Wheat Tortilla (8-10 inch)

  • 3 oz Lean Sliced Turkey Breast

  • 1 slice Provolone or Swiss Cheese

  • 1 tbsp Light Cream Cheese or Light Mayonnaise (or a combination)

  • 1/4 cup Shredded Lettuce

  • 2 thin slices of Tomato

  • Salt and Pepper to taste

  • 1 Toothpick (for pinning before air frying)

Instructions:

Prepare the Tortilla: Lay the tortilla flat. Using a knife or kitchen scissors, make one straight cut from the center of the tortilla down to the bottom edge. This creates four quadrants.

Apply the Quadrant Fillings: Place one ingredient in each of the four quadrants, ensuring the fillings remain in their quarter:

  1. Quadrant 1 (The Glue/Melt): Spread the light cream cheese or mayonnaise along the cut line.

  2. Quadrant 2 (The Protein): Layer the sliced turkey breast.

  3. Quadrant 3 (The Freshness): Layer the shredded lettuce and tomato slices.

  4. Quadrant 4 (The Seal/Melt): Place the slice of cheese.

The Folding Hack: Starting with Quadrant 1 (the sauce), fold the quarter up and over Quadrant 2 (the turkey). Then, fold the doubled section over onto Quadrant 3 (the lettuce). Finally, fold the entire wrap over onto Quadrant 4 (the cheese). This creates a compact, layered triangle.

Secure and Air Fry: Pin the top layer of the triangle with a toothpick to ensure it holds its shape during cooking. Place the wrap in the air fryer. Air fry at 350∘F for 4-6 minutes, flipping halfway, until the tortilla is golden brown and crispy and the cheese has melted.

Serve: Carefully remove the toothpick and enjoy this warm, portable sandwich. Perfect for eating on the go!
